ABOUT 1912
1912 is an interest-project between two friends, there really isn’t a meaning behind the name 1912, we just like how it sounds.
For the record, it’s pronounced as nineteen-twelve; not one-nine-one-two etc.

That aside, we aim to bring you all things pretty at a steal. But we don’t just stop there.. At 1912, all items have been handpicked and examined by us. We wouldn’t want to sell you something we wouldn’t buy ourselves.
We believe in quality without compromising quantity.

1912’s main style is effortless-chic staples and casual throw-ons for lazy days. Versatility is also a key factor when we source. We love pieces that look good on their own & follows you through the seasons. But that doesn’t mean we forget about the latest trending streetwear!
We source for an eclectic mix of wardrobe staples, evergreen designs, quirky frocks and mainstream trendy streetwear.

We try our very best to provide you with accurate measurements and clear descriptions/pictures to aid you in your shopping. If you have any feedback on how we can improve, we’re more than happy to hear it!

i. HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
To make a purchase, fill up the order form located in the “check out” tab, or use the CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE NOW button for instant purchases. You are allowed to order up to 5 items at a time. Please make sure you fill in the form with accurate details so as to ensure smooth transactions. Also, please make sure you have cleared all your doubts about the item(s) such as measurements/materials, BEFORE sending in the purchase form.

Once you’ve submitted your order, an invoice will be sent to you within 24hrs. If you have not received an invoice within the stipulated time, try checking your junk mail folder first. Should the invoice fail to be there, email us at sales@shop1912.com.

Payment is expected to be made within 24hrs of invoice. Failure to do so entitles us to release your items to the next interested buyer. Only state your order as definite if you are 101% sure. It would be best to only submit the form if you are very sure as priority goes to buyers with a definite status.

Please take note that although items are stated as “available”, it might not be the case as we are unable to update 24/7. Thus, do fill up the form with your alternatives if you have any.

iii. RETURNS/EXCHANGES
Here at 1912, we try our very best to provide you with clear and accurate measurements/descriptions for you to gauge. Please take note that colors of our clothes seen on the website may vary due to your computer resolution/settings, we have already tried our best to keep it as true as possible to the original color of the item. Therefore, we do not accept returns unless the item is defected. We do a check on all our items before mailing them out, however there are instances where we might miss something.

•Should the item be flawed, do notify us within 1 day upon receiving the item with clear pictures of the defects. The item must be in original condition, unworn and unaltered. We will get back to you after assessing the situation. If the defected item you purchased is out of stock, we will issue you web credit so you can purchase something else. In the case where the item you picked is of lower value, we will not do refunds.
*Do note that we only do exchanges on a case by case basis.

•If your item appears to be tarnished/spotted/stained, do not try to remove it on your own, email us first so that we can advise you depending on the situation.
If you attempt to wash it on your own, we reserve the right not to do an exchange for you.

•All sales items are final sales. We will not entertain any refunds/exchanges.


iv. PRIVACY
We do not acquire personal information about visitors unless it is voluntarily submitted. 1912 only collects your information whenever you sign up for our mailers or place an order.
We understand the annoyance of spam mails etc, thus all personal information will not be disclosed to third parties.
